Northern Sessions: Northern Sessions is a live performance video series featuring Edmonton-based musicians. We support musicians by providing meaningful representations of their craft to help support their professional development and help promote Edmonton's lively music scene.
Edmonton Awesome Foundation: We're making Edmonton more awesome every year! The Foundation distributes a series of monthly $1,000 grants to projects and their creators. The money is given upfront in cash, check, or gold doubloons by groups of ten or so self-organizing “micro-trustees,” who form autonomous chapters around geographic areas or topics of interest. Join Edmonton Awesome Foundation for the final pitch party of the year in Transcend Mercer, program beings at 7pm.
The Foundation provides these grants with no strings attached and claims no ownership over the projects it supports. It is, in the words of one of our trustees, a micro-genius grant for flashes of micro-brilliance.
Edmonton's NextGen: Edmonton's NextGen is a group of young, passionate, community-minded individuals who are taking the future into our own hands by creating a city that attracts and gives voice to the Next Generation of Edmontonians.
Creative Edmonton: Creative Edmonton is made up of a group of community organizers that aim to support local causes. We create market style events to showcase local artists, businesses, and musicians. After you check out Mercer Summer Super Party, pop over to our Heroes & Villains Market in support of United Way - Tools for Schools campaign at MacEwan University, 10770 - 104 Avenue.
Make Something Edmonton: Someone just like you is building something extraordinary here. Make Something Edmonton encourages all citizens to build the city they want, project by project.
Mercer Warehouse: A 100 year old building located in Edmonton's Warehouse district, we're home to some of Edmonton's biggest movers and shakers. Behind our walls you'll find some of the city's finest coffee and cocktails, converse with inspiring creators, improve your education, or get lost in the maze of great people and organizations. There's always something happening here, and a special charm that only a hundred years and a handful of ghost tales can create.
Startup Edmonton: Startup Edmonton connects entrepreneurs and project builders with the community, skills and space to support them as they take an idea to reality.
Vacancy Hall: Vacancy Hall is a pop-up retail and studio space in the lower level of the historic Mercer Warehouse. While hosting artists, brands, designers and entrepreneurs, Vacancy is a place to experiment with turning big ideas into real products.
